Saturday the 29th saw the biggest turn-out at the famous Alva Glen Illuminations yet!
Nathan Critchlow-Watton, chair of Alva Glen Heritage Trust (AGHT), reported that the Illuminations had been a great success, “the acrobats and fire-juggler were superb, and the magical "underwater grotto" theme inspired some fantastic pictures. Most importantly of all, we couldn't have staged the illuminations without the support of our volunteers and donations from the public and businesses of Alva.”

4th March this year saw our happy band having some training in path repairs in the Glen. Perhaps the best part of the day was that all our resources could be found in the water! Huge rocks were coaxed, shoved, rolled and beaten into submission to provide a waterbar that would not look out of place on the West Highland Way.
